With the positive impacts of design thinking and other design-related approaches in the corporate world, there has been an increased interest in design-related methodologies.  OCAD University, as the oldest and largest school of art and design, was constantly approached by corporate clients for additional insight and information on design-related methods.  

 

CO was established to provide easier access for corporate clients to training and knowledge.  OCAD University is an established thought leader in systems thinking, futures thinking, and design thinking through graduate and undergraduate programming.  Building on the University’s areas of expertise, CO expanded its services to provide consulting in addition to training services to corporate clients. 

 

Our journey continues to translate the University’s values and principles into practical,

industry-focused solutions. Leveraging the University’s design ethos, we collaborate with

public and private sector organizations to embed systems thinking, strategic foresight, and

design methodologies into organizations.
